We're here decompressing. It's March in Florida on the Gulf, and though the skies have been lovely, there's a brisk onshore breeze that ruffles the water of the swimming pool and makes it just a bit too cool for swimming. The sun is warm, but the skin is chilled by the wind.
We're waiting for what we hope is a warming trend later this week before we can jump in the pool.
In the meantime, we enjoy the view and the pool deck and dock. Today we stayed home and let the kids take the rental car out to explore. I spent the whole day in my pajama bottoms.
Vacation.

It was lovely today in Columbus!
ReplyDeleteBut perhaps a few more days yet before we take dips in the pool...

It was sixty-ish in the NY metro area. Looks like I'll be wearing shorts while watching the parade.

ReplyDeleteLucky lady! It is nice here today and tomorrow, but they used the snow word again for the weekend:(
ReplyDeleteThe Gulf is one of my favorite places on Earth. I love the smell, the weight of the air (or lack of weight better put) the breeze, the warm water - I love it all.
ReplyDeleteI love your pj bottoms!
ReplyDeleteVacations are the bestest things in the world.
It truly looks as if you are enjoying yourself.
(Sorry about not commenting for so long ... been wrapped up in my own head; think I'm ready to come out now!)
Missed ya.
We're actually enjoying a couple of 50 degree days, before it snows this weekend. (first day of spring snow...how ironic!)
ReplyDeleteThe flip flops by the pool, what a relaxing picture!!!
(Love the pj pants, by the way!) :-)
Now that's what I call a vacation...I got relaxed just reading about it!
ReplyDeleteHello....
ReplyDeletefortunata !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buona serata :-)
I miss working from home: Some days, I stayed in my jammie bottoms, too.
ReplyDeleteYou've rekindled very fond memories of our recent Florida vacation. The weather was also a little too cool for comfort. We often found ourselves rationalizing trips to the pool or the beach, because we knew we'd be heading home soon.
At least our time there included no snow or shovels :)
That first picture made me sigh with virtual pleasure. :)
