Weekly Jack

Here's Jack sitting here on the cool slate floor of our entry, with his back against the steps to the back of the house.

Our previous dog, Kotsie, used to sit in exactly the same place. Is there something about this arrangement that is particularly comfortable to dogs?

    Jack is a beautiful dog. I once had a Siberian Husky that was as gorgeous. Maybe your dogs like that spot because they instinctively keep their back to the wall.

    Cool slate floor with a comfortable back AND a way to keep guard on the comings and goings... sounds good to me!

    I think dogs just love to be up next to something. Ours will go curl up in the corner of the room...it is secure for them I think.
