As someone who writes about food a lot, I have plenty of photos of delicious, savory treats. But as I visited other contributors to see their photos, I saw a broader range of the theme - the idea of savoring the moment, of indulging in comfort, refuge, sleep; the idea of taking a moment to truly enjoy something.This photo was taken on an evening after a long workday, after a traffic-choked drive home, and after shoes were kicked off, a tie was loosened, and a comfy wicker chair awaited on a sunny deck overlooking the canyon. The moment was savored, indeed.
What a fantastic view! I would spend many hours with shoes kicked off, looking at that :-)
