I'm always drawn to night-time views of urban settings. It's so hard to capture the splendor and depth of the glittering lights against the darkness of the sky, I just keep snapping and snapping until something turns out right. Here's a view of the Manhattan skyline, seen from Williamsburg in Brooklyn, as dusk turns to night.
So true; it's difficult to catch the majesty of city lights. This one does so....I learned recently that the Empire State building lights up different colors depending on the season; wonder when this shot was taken and what the significance of the colors.

Night scenes are where I wish I had a DSLR camera with a tripod.

ReplyDeleteIf you want to see the orbs that are all about you, I recommend taking pictures with a digital camera on daytime settings, and letting the flash expose them.
