FAD Friday - and some news

F**k a Duck! My tummy-ache has turned out to be a bigger adventure than I thought. Blogging will be relatively light, but I'll keep you up to date.

Meanwhile, share your week's nasty surprises and how you feel about them here.

Note to Early Pink Saturday visitors - FAD Fridays are a tradition allowing folks to let their end-of-week gripe flags fly - all language is allowed. It honors a dear old lady whose favorite phrase, used while playing Scrabble, was "Fuck a duck!" Please don't take offense!

And I WILL have a Pink Saturday post, so tune in tomorrow.

  4. FuckADuck - I'm failing Spanish so I will have to retake it next semester - 4 months until starts and I'm already dreading it.

And FAD to illness and death and everything else that is crap.

  5. Be well!

About the only thing I can complain about is I haven't got my sorry self back to Columbus to work on finding a new job.

On the other hand, I'm loving it here in the woods of W.V.

  6. Ai yi yi! I certainly hope it is indeed no more than an upset tummy, or, at the very worst, appendicitis.

Not liking the sound of "observation," though. On the other hand, boring as it is, enjoy your stay.

  7. Oh dear, hope you're on the mend soon!

Fuckaduck that our new performance evaluation system is about as user-friendly as trying to divine the future by reading tea leaves.

  8. Oh please don't do that to the duck. He hates humans meddling with him ;-)

This week, a kitten tried to enter our property and my dogs attacked amidst my shouts of NO and when I got to the kitten, she was all curled up but alive. I took the cat out, set out a bed for her, gave her milk and hot meals and yesterday, she was jumping and tried to follow me back. I prayed her mother finds her and indeed a few minutes the mother arrived and gave me a "getouttaourlife" look.

SO much for being a hero.
    Have a pink day.

F-A-D that we've had no action on our house for over a week now. My husband is wanting to drop the price and I'm not ready yet.

  13. I was first a bitr shocked until I read on. Hmmm F**k a duck. I got up at 6:30 to prepare for an 8:30 AM interview scheduled for 20 minutes on the phone and confirmed with a little note "we are anxious to see why you believe you would be an asset to our organization." Ass sets they are as apparently they are assess and never kept their appointment... Irate because I lost my beauty sleep, while they sat on their ASS!.
