Road kill

Found on my morning walk. A lost bunny.

Here in a landscape where the coyotes howl beneath your windows at night, it's not unusual to find gruesome evidence of their nocturnal feasting.

But this is the first time I've found a toy bunny.

    And here I was, expecting a deer leg like the one I found walking my dad's dog in W.V. last month.
