Market flowers


I had to go to class this Wednesday night, so all I could bring back from the Santa Monica Farmers' Market were these photos. The powerful scent of these tuberose drew me to the florist's stall.


Sweet William is not scented, but, oh, so pretty!

    I need you to come teach me about flowers and what I can plant in my yard. I need some cheerful color... and LOTS of Iris.

    I've read about tuberoses for years and never seen one before. Yay!
