Test results

In order to qualify for one job I'm applying for, I had to take a typing test and show that I could type at least 45 words per minute. It's a little humiliating having to do this, and it's also been hard to find a place where I could take the test. The information I got referring me was confusing.

This morning I successfully found the location of a non-profit agency that administers the test and took it.

  2. Whoop! And you know you can do even better than that without the stress of a test hanging on your shoulders. Congratulations.

  3. Whoo Hoo to you.
Once applied for a job in the 90's and I was asked to take a typing test. No problem, I thought, I'm a fast typist. The test was given on an old Caronna electric TYPEWRITER! I hadn't used a typewriter in about ten years. I typed 55WPM but the woman wasn't happy with my performance (I was faster but my accuracy wasn't great). I asked the interviewer if the job would be using a typewriter or a computer. Of course it was a computer, I told her the test should be given on a keyboard. Needless to say I didn't get the job.
Good luck Aunt Snow, I'm rooting for you.
