Journeying far

The manor house at Stokesay Castle, in the West of England

We are travelling for the holidays, and I'm starting to get excited about it.

We're going to visit our son in London for Christmas. I've never been to Britain in the winter, and I'm looking forward to some cozy Christmas scenes, some jolly wassailing, a bit of Dickensian charm - and the after-Christmas sale at Liberty!

Oh, lucky you! What a wonderful trip to make at Christmas! I can easily imagine how great London will be with sparkling Christmas windows to gawk over. Fabulous!

Should make for great picture-taking, Aunt Snow.

But I know I don't have to remind you...

As you can tell, I'm catching up on your blog that I've missed the last week or so. It is my DREAM to go to London for Christmas (preferably with my lovely Dad) and go to one of the big churches like St. Pauls or Westminster for the Christmas concert. Boy choir, loud organ, orchestra, John Rutter carols...I would be in heaven! Have a wonderful trip!
