Thematic Photographic - Abstract

Each week Carmi at Written, Inc. has challenged readers with a theme for photographic inspiration. This week the photographic challenge continues with the theme ABSTRACT.

Abstract art uses form and line to create a composition which is unrelated to visual references in the real world.

It was a bright summer day and I was walking on the sidewalk that turned into one of those enclosed tunnels around a construction site. And as I came out of the shade of the scaffolding overhead, I was struck by the fishscale pattern thrown onto the pavement by the bright sun shining through the chainlink fence.

You've really got a great eye.
The glistening concrete beyond the chainlink made me initially think that I was looking at fish scales.
