All shapes and sizes

From the British Museum. Click to "embiggen"

These figurines were made of bone and ivory, between 4000 and 3600 BC, in Naqada, a town on the west bank of the Nile River in Egypt.

We really do come in all shapes and sizes, don't we?

The figurine in the middle foreground looks uncannily like a woman in a bikini shivering after swimming in a not-so-warm ocean.
