I'm too late for Pink Saturday - but today I saw this little girl at the beach. Her mom and dad are walking on the sand just to the right of the frame, but she was fiercely independent and taking off on her own, exploring the beach, heading for the water.Good for her.

Aunt: Have you ever seen a Chinese gentleman on the beach flying kites occasionally? His name is Tyrus Wong. He's in his 90s and builds his own kites. He was an illustrator for Disney (Bambi).
Thought he would make an interesting subject for your great posts.
Oh hey! I just discovered that Tyrus Wong will turn 100 this year on October 25. Fabulous!
