I've never seen an acacia tree in bloom. What do they smell like?
Jen, the acacia species here doesn't seem to have a scent, not one I notice. There is a very fragrant one that is used in perfume, but this is not that one.
That's awesome... it's probably the closest thing there is to having a mallorn in the neighborhood.The closest thing I've experienced to it is a cottonwood on one of our sites which makes the whole vicinity look like a blizzard just hit.
Lovely! Such a beautiful color.
If it doesn't cause allergy flare-ups, it is worth the mess for all that beauty!
