Holiday wreath

This pretty wreath can be found at the Santa Monica Wednesday Farmers' Market on Arizona Street. The market runs from 8:30 in the morning until 1:30 in the afternoon.

This wreath is made of protea flowers, eucalyptus, and other tropical foliage. The Farmers' Market is a great place to go to get into the holiday spirit.

I have to confess - even though this market is really convenient for me to visit, I let my workday worries distract me enough so I forget to go shopping here regularly. I'm working on my list of New Years' resolutions - I think going to the market should be on there. What do you think? What resolutions are on your list?

That wreath is inspiring! I'm coming your way from Bossy's scene and even though I live in West LA, I so rarely go through the Farmer's Market because I have three young kids and I'm generally insane.

This wreath may get me there....

Cool blog - I could learn more about LA by visiting here...

Lovely wreath Glennis. Very natural -if I compare yours to mine. Liked it.
Farmers Market? I'm afraid it's impossible to find these kinda markets in this city centre:( I enjoy going, touring in shopping malls, they are more than a 'heaven' nowadays, crowded people, shopping people like a crazy as if no crisis hitting the city, and full of incredibly nice -mostly expensive- stuff...! Hardly shopping...;)

That's a very good resolution. I'll see you that one and add I think I'll try to ride my bike and add to the greeness of the experience. I wish we had beautiful wreaths like that. I would get a few.

I'm resolving to shop more at my local market, sometimes I just get lazy but the food is better quality and a lower price.

I love it! I love local farmer's markets. The best one I've ever found is in Asheville, NC. It's HUGE - and there's so much fantastic stuff (like homemade apple butter - YUM)! But all local farmer's markets are great. And I'm with you - it's just hard to remember to GO to them when the local giganto-store is so convenient.

I want to work on my writing for one of my resolutions this year.
