Precious picture....it doesn't take us long to start dragging around that bag like it was an essential though. In this photo you haven't quite realized that this "thing" will be the repository for all things important and un-important that need to be toted around!

That could be me. Gloves? What for? Several years later when I deigned to wear holey jeans to the Fillmore my mother informed me that "ladies" always wore hat and gloves to the City and not with dungerees. Oh, the rules we had!!
