Hello, February! January's banner was a photo from last year of Helleborus argutfolius. This year the same plant is blooming in my planter box - so here it is, as we say goodbye to January and move into February.February's banner is a view of Santa Monica Bay taken from the East Topanga Fire Road on a bright bright clear January afternoon. You can see the curve of the bay, the Santa Monica Pier reaching out into the water, and the beaches of Will Rogers State Park.

Yes, here's to February! I always love when the old month flips over into the new. It's like a chance to start over again. That's how my mind works anyway.
January 2009 had its good moments but overall, I'm glad to see it GONE!!!
