Barbecue Pig sighting!

This barbecue pig is in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, at Crook's Corner Cafe & Bar. OK, it's not a cow, but this is Carolina-style barbecue.

In Arkansas we do barbeque pork as well. Those of us who are Razorbacks say we are the only school that eats our mascot.

Is that what we would call a "pig roast"? On a spit? Of is it literally using a BBQ?

I'm thinking this is a great pic. I'm also thinking our potter friend Gary will be a tad bit freaked but still like the piggie.
I'm also aware that I have 18 more of your posts to read (many from Paris)!!

Obviously, I did not spend my vacation on the internet.

Nothing better than a bit of BBQ'd pork! Sausages are a usual BBQ food here, as are pork chops. Hooray for pigs, I say!

OMG - were you at Crooks Corner? We love that place. We're only about fifteen minutes from there.
