Weekly Jack

Here's the dog you all love to see - Jack. This is your Weekly Jack!

Jack's a mellow guy.

Jack can relax.

I wish I could sleep so soundly.

Jack looks very huggable!

I had every intention of responding to your email with photos and details . . . and then I got an itch and dragged the kids to the neighborhood home/garden store and bought some things. I looked for plants that could handle some shade - looks like my little patch gets sunlight from early morning through early afternoon - probably about 6 hours total.

I blogged about it with pics, today. It may not work out perfectly and I'll be researching more how to take care of what I've planted . . . but I just wanted to do it! ;)

Let me know if you see any major mistakes. For example, I think maybe I planted the flowers too close together.

Aunt Snow, regarding the spam...I have comments sent to moderation on posts over 21 days, and leave it open with no word verification for the newer posts.

The spam sits around until I "select all" and "delete all", so it seems like the best of both worlds.

P.S. Jack's bushy tail always makes me smile!

He's a beautiful dog! Our dog rolls over on his back and asks for a tickle - is Jack doing that, or merely a bit of pre-sleep rolling??

Jenn@Juggling sent me over. It seems we both have the gardening bug, but what I’m really envying now are the tarts!

It's a dog's life, isn't it?

Yesterday while I slowed my car to a stop at the red light at the corner of rose & 9th, I made eye contact with a huge brown mutt in the back of a pick up truck. We coudn't stop looking at each other. I knew, and I think the dog knew, that it was sitting in the wrong vehicle. We fell in love. And then the light changed. He/she went straight and I turned. Sigh.
