We call that "tufting" here and there are few things more satisfying than pulling those big tufts off a dog. It's addicting! Even the photo is making my fingers itch. The dogs aren't usually so excited about it, though.

Wolf has been shedding for a MONTH now. I just don't understand where it's all coming from LMAO!
Does the groomer use a lavender-scented dog spray? I know someone whose dog always smelled terrific! Mmmmmmm...Handsome Jack! :)
