Thematic Photographic - Kitchen

Carnitas. Delectable. This photo was taken at a stall called "Las Morelianas - Carnitas estilo Michoacan" in the Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles. The counterman was chopping a big piece of roast marinated pork shoulder into small pieces to serve in tacos.

When I ordered my tacos, another customer helpfully advised me how to dress the meat with the salsas and chopped herbs available at the stand. He and his young daughter were enjoying their tacos, and showed me where I could sit and enjoy my food. I didn't really need his advice, but I appreciated his graciousness and hospitality. It made the meal so much more satisfying to share it with other people.

The problem with dropping by here just before I leave for work is that I then end up craving bad bad tucker!
