heh heh - my dog can hear you putting on your shoes from rooms away with the television on. HE then sits on the remaining shoe to ensure that he will not be left from whatever excursion is taking place.
Dogs are funny. Cats just wait at the door (but I don't recommend putting a leash on a cat).

Jack gets so excited by the idea of a morning walk that he makes it hard to put your shoes on.
