Sunset Boulevard sky

We were walking on Sunset Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood as the evening sun was getting low in the western sky, shining warm and golden on the buildings.

The first thing I saw was the reflection bounced back onto the blank eastern wall of this nondescript glass-fronted office building.

Then I saw the whole sky given back to me on its facade.

A trick of the light, a magic moment.

It looks so warm, too! (Can you tell it's winter here?)

Ha, Karen - for us right now LA is FREEZING!! It's in the low 40's, high 30s here, with high winds, and we were freezing when I took that photo!

We don't do cold well in LA.

This is great! The reflection holds more than the photo! Nicely done!

Best wishes for the New Yr. to you & yours, Auntie!

In trivia, the little box to the right of the reflective bldg. is (maybe was, but I don't know what else could be done w/ it) a recording studio that once belonged to Marvin Gaye.
