I wish the Queen could have given the lovely young grand daughters few fashion tips. The Queen can style! I love the blog. I am new today but I am a regular weekly pinkie! Glad to meet you here. I think lots of us chose the royal wedding as a ink theme today! Hugs, HPS and have a terrific weekend. Anne
Annesphamily, "The Queen can style!" Tell me you're joking, please! That woman - bless her heart-- has been stuck in the 1950s for decades now. My mother's the same age, and it's been 60 years since she wore a silly hat and matching handbag. My mother changed styles along with the years; the Queen never did. As for Beatrice, all I can think was she either wanted to be as ridiculous as possible in order to get some attention on the world's stage today, or else she's trying to win the contest of "How To Embarrass Your Future Children." That thing on her head cannot be taken seriously unless it is an alien life form sucking out her brain and planning to take over the earth. Honestly, isn't this where someone should say to her, "You're NOT leaving the house looking like that, young lady!"? Thanks for the laughs.
I just have to say: That is probably the stupidest (maybe not a word, but it gets the point across) hat I have ever seen. Seriously, what was she thinking?
That hat is something else... but not much worse than a few others I saw! Sadly, I think they both needed their mother's help in choosing clothing, and of course she was not there.

They made the stepsisters in Cinderella look good.
If B had just put the hat back on her head where it belonged, and wiped off the Princess D raccoon eyes, she would have looked respectable.
E on the other hand...that dress is a mess.
And you, G, GET WELL SOON!
You are too funy! Love the hats, couldn't get enough of them this AM.
TTFN ~
Have a wonderful PS weekend ~

The hat doesn't bother me as much as the harsh scary eye makeup.

Oh my gosh!! I have been seeing that hat everywhere. I guess she wanted to be noticed and she sure did!!
Happy Pink Saturday! Funny thing is, her hat probably cost her more than my house is worth! Marcia

I'm with smalltownmom- the raccoon eyes bother me more than the hat. She looks like she's channeling Alice Cooper!
FUGLY!
I just looked them up. Both princesses are in actuality quite pretty, without all the gloop and bad fashion choices....
Someone needs to tell the girls that a mirror is their best friend. :)

Have you ever been to a British wedding? It's like the Kentucky Derby on crack.
Hope you're feeling better.
Wow; your comment about the hat resembling what's "going on below my beltline" is amazing considering your post from the hospital. Oh my.
On a lighter note: the hat was insane. Wouldn't she know that? Her make-up is equally scary. For a morning wedding? Please.
Skank.
