Chihuly on the cheap

Well, I had this nice cobalt blue plastic bowl with a snap-top lid, that I thought was a great thing to have for bringing dishes to parties and stuff.

I used it to make the noodle salad for the potluck, but because I decided to go with the slaw option, I decided to use a platter to serve my offering. So I put the cobalt blue plastic bowl in the dishwasher.

Ooops. Here's how it came out.


If you squint and look at it right, it looks like a piece of art glass. Nice fruit bowl.
