I just sent my daughter off to Texas to spend a few weeks with my mom. I can imagine that the town she's going to looks exactly like that. She's going to Happy, TX. Population(as of 2007): 609
Yeah, that's six hundred and nine - not missing any commas or zeros. ;)
Oh, I just love this picture. I was thinking today that so far, if I had to put this summer into words, beautiful skies, would be right up there on top! : )

That looks exactly as I would imagine a small Texan town!
Are all small towns spread out like that? I suppose Texas has more space than we have, though!! And fewer people living there!
Still, that's given me an idea for a post when I come back from Hospital tomorrow!
I could sit and watch the sky for hours. I find it interesting the way it can tie to the moods of many.

This is the same little Texas town where I found these pickles last fall:
Flying Pickles
And yes, Crystal, it's about the same size.
This looks like the town where the play "Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean Jimmy Dean" takes place.
I love the contrast between all the wires and lines and man-made stuff and cloudy sky.

Those small towns, yes, statis is the word.
Sometimes in a town like this, feels like the clouds are the only things that move. (not speaking from experience or anything...ahem)
Nice choice.
