Jack's a nutcase

Jack likes nuts. Here, he's enjoying pistachios.

Jack would be a great companion in a bar.

As a matter of fact, he IS a great companion in a bar. Among the many dog-friendly places we've found in LA, we recently enjoyed a lunch at a pub called "The Cat and Fiddle" in the heart of Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard.

The Cat and Fiddle is housed in an historic Hollywood courtyard building. Once the commissary for film studios in the neighborhood, it's a classic Mediterranean-style courtyard, an oasis of serenity off the bustle of the busy streets. It's said that scenes of the classic movie "Casablanca" were filmed here.

British rocker Kim Gordon and his wife bought the pub in 1982, and now their children run the place. Live music, British pub food, and a vast selection of beers and ales - plus a pet-friendly attitude - make the Cat and Fiddle a good place for Jack to hang out and enjoy himself.

You can bring your well-behaved dog and hang out in the courtyard, and the staff will bring a nice bowl of water. If your dog wants pistachios he'll have to buy - or you will.

I GIVE UP. I am moving to LA, next door to that place actually, NOW. Enough of this snowy, grey weather, gimme some of THAT! :)

I'd love to hang out there and feed Jack treats.
DOES he like beer? A friend's chocolate lab LOVES beer.
