Rainbow

One of the most charming aspects of the Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods in New Orleans is the kaleidoscope of colors used to paint the historic houses and buildings here. Just taking a walk around the block delivers enough colors to make a rainbow.

LOVE the colors! I imagine they make every walk a pleasant one.
The green with purple match my future grandchild's nursery (also the colors of his parents' wedding three years ago). ♥

This is why I love that neighborhood. Every time we're in New Orleans, I spend days wandering about thinking, "I'd like that house...no THAT house...no THAT one!"

I still want to repaint orange, but Louie says that's not a marketable color. I dunno, I think it's happy!

I would love a purple house.
